Missions & Outreach
Serving Our Community and the World
Making a Difference
Tabernacle UMC is committed to living out the Gospel through acts of service and compassion. Our missions and outreach ministry connects our congregation with local, national, and global opportunities to serve those in need. We believe that faith without works is incomplete — and we are called to be the hands and feet of Christ in Virginia Beach and beyond.
Our Outreach Efforts
Local Community Service
We partner with local organizations to provide food, clothing, and support to families in need throughout the Virginia Beach area.
United Methodist Global Missions
As part of the United Methodist Church, we support global mission initiatives that bring hope and healing to communities worldwide.
Disaster Relief
When disaster strikes, our congregation responds. We support UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief) to aid communities in crisis.
Youth Mission Trips
Our youth participate in annual mission trips, gaining firsthand experience in servant leadership and community transformation.
